Twitch partner HoneyPuu recently addressed her community to clear the air regarding her sudden suspension from the platform. While sitting in a League of Legends lobby during her marathon broadcast, the German content creator took time to answer persistent questions from her viewers regarding why her channel had been temporarily banned. For many fans who noticed her sudden absence, the reason behind the penalty had remained a mystery until she shared the details live on stream.

According to HoneyPuu, the ban stemmed from watching a documentary live on broadcast that unexpectedly displayed material violating Twitch's Terms of Service. As soon as the problematic imagery surfaced on screen, she and her team scrambled to mitigate the damage right away. They quickly clicked away from the video to minimize exposure, swiftly deleted the entire past broadcast (VOD), and pruned any generated clips to prevent rule-breaking material from circulating across the platform.

Immediate Deletion Was Not Enough to Prevent Suspension

Despite their rapid response to contain the breach, the situation did not end there. HoneyPuu explained that an opportunistic viewer seemingly reported the broadcast anyway, going out of their way to bring the brief violation to the attention of platform moderators. Because of the targeted report, the broadcaster received an official suspension roughly five days after the incident actually occurred on stream.

The delayed punishment caught the streamer off guard, especially after taking every measure available to remove the footage as soon as it happened.
